Spiritual Trips & Trekkings

Sri Kailash Mansarovar

Kailash Mansarovar is a sacred pilgrimage site located in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, near the source of some of Asia's major rivers. Mount Kailash, a 6,638-meter peak, is considered holy in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon religion. Nearby, Lake Mansarovar, a high-altitude sacred lake,is believed to have purifying spiritual powers.

Pilgrims undertake the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, a challenging journey involving trekking at high altitudes to perform a parikrama (circumambulation) around Mount Kailash, which is thought to cleanse sins and bring spiritual merit.

Sri Panch Kedar (Uttrakhand)

Sri Panch Kedar refers to a group of five sacred Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, India. According to legend, these temples are associated with the Mahabharata, where the Pandavas sought forgiveness from Shiva for their sins during the Kurukshetra war. Shiva, avoiding them, took the form of a bull and disappeared into the earth—his body parts reappearing in five different places, now worshipped as Panch Kedar. The five temples are:

1.Kedarnath – where the hump of the bull appeared (most famous and highest of the five).

2. Tungnath – where the arms were seen (the highest Shiva temple in the world).

3. Rudranath – where the face emerged.

4.Madhyamaheshwar – where the navel and stomach appeared.

5. Kalpeshwar– where the hair and head appeared.

Pilgrimage to all five temples is considered highly auspicious and spiritually rewarding. Would you like a travel route or pilgrimage guide for the Panch Kedar?
